Building Community for Therapists Committed to Liberation
The field of psychology often treats therapy as neutral, ignoring the ways power, oppression, and liberation shape both our clients lives and our own. The Monthly Mindfulness Gathering for therapists, care workers, and healers offers a space to slow down and root ourselves in community. The Liberatory Process Group for Therapists meets biweekly to critically engage with how we bring liberation into our work.
These spaces are for those who know that healing doesn’t happen in isolation, it ripples outward. When we tend to ourselves, we expand our capacity for empathy, solidarity, and collective care. By recognizing that our personal struggles are tied to capitalism, racism, sexism, and colonialism, we can move toward healing that not only transforms us but strengthens our communities.
Process Group
For Therapists, Healers, Care Worker
A biweekly process group for therapists where we can show up for ourselves in confidential community. This group is for clinicians and care workers who are committed to liberatory politics and want to explore how we bring liberation into our work, starting with ourselves.
This is a space for us to talk about our lives, relationships, clients, and countertransference while maintaining a supportive, anti-oppressive framework that honors our lived experiences. Together, we can reflect, unlearn, and build practices that sustain us and our work.
We’ll meet every other Thursday from 7:00–8:30 PM in Echo Park in a closed group of 8-10 people. Members are asked to commit to attending regularly. Membership is confidential.
Community Mindfulness
For Therapists, Healers, Care Workers, and Friends
Join us once a month in Echo Park for a mindfulness practice for therapists, care workers, and healers. This gathering offers a space to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and be in community with those who hold space for others. Through guided meditation, gentle reflection, creative activities and shared presence, we cultivate sustainability in our work while honoring our own well-being. All experience levels welcome. Free and open to all.
